Know what’s so funny about this? How the blue-eyed White folks know this is an exercise (as in not real life!) and can’t stand taking the shit people of color deal with for a couple of hours before they’re screaming and crying and storming off. They know it’s fake, and they still can’t deal!
Yet these are the people who are supposedly so much smarter than me, so much more reasonable than me, so much more civilized than me!
She. Goes. IN on these white folks. GOES IN.
“I cannot waste my tears for a white woman who knows that this is temporary…. I save my sympathy and my empathy for those who go through this every day of their lives….”
I know that some of you follow me because you occasionally learn something between my awkward personal posts.
I’m sorry this isn’t captioned, but if you’re able to, please watch this, esp. if you’re non-POC.
ugh omg i wish i coulda been there 2 hours of bliss tbh
I love this teacher. She was the subject of one of the lessons/discussions for my English class.
@leadvessel - The lesson wasn’t about payback, it was to teach people why putting down others for their race/being different is wrong by showing them what it’s like to be discriminated against. I love this lesson but when you make comments like that it shows you’re really missing the point of it.
It’s to show people are people, no matter what their race/what they look like, and people have feelings and should be treated as people. It’s not some frickin’ event that you wish you could have gone to get payback and feel ‘blissful’ about making others cry
I love this lady and her experiment. she’s a role model.
Ooh! We watched some stuff about/by this lady a few weeks ago in Psychology! She’s really controversial, but I think...
