Okay, for once I am going to try and go into the details.

I don’t know how to spin this sob story any further without repeating the same old shit. I also don’t know the magic words to make people feel bad enough for me so that they’ll throw money in my direction. 

All I can tell you is that I’ve literally got no money for food or anything, but most importantly food.  

My boyfriend is the one who racks in the bills to pay for things like food and rent, (well he works a pretty shitty job at a shitty restaurant under a boss who’s more of a slave driver than anything else) and I can’t get a job because we’ll be leaving soon to Massachusetts to go live with my parents for a little while to help us get back on our feet and also get us out of this queer hating state of Tennessee. (both Jesse and I are trans* individuals)

But back on the topic of my boyfriend Jesse and his job, here in the state of Tennessee there is no minimum wage law. It is not required that you are paid a certain amount, no matter what your position or where you work, that and he works at a restaurant, which the pay is a lot different there, needless to say, he makes his money in tips. Now Jesse isn’t a normal server, like inside the restaurant, he works car side, which is carry out/to go so he gets paid even less than a normal server does. 

For the past few months, Jesse has been short on rent and has had to borrow money from friends and family. Currently he is 60 dollars short on rent that was due last month. He made 7 dollars last night. 7 fucking dollars.

So with the little money he has, and the job I don’t have, we have pretty much no money for anything. Rent, clothes, bills, food. Nothing.

My family had made promises about helping out, but they never did. (however, now that I’m telling them I’m moving back they’re throwing money at us for gas and hotels that we can’t spend on food or bills if we hope to get out of this god forsaken state.) And you may ask, “well Seb, why can’t your parents just help you out?” To put it simply, they aren’t made out of money and they can only give us so much.

Now that you know the situation, let me get to the point of this post.

I’m opening up commissions.

$10 dollar art commissions, because it’s really hard to sell art. 

I can’t promise you t-shirts and fandom items I can just promise you a drawing.
